Overview
Team CSI was developed as a long-term service and platform concept to connect Purdue organizations that lack technical resources with CGT students seeking real-world project experience.
The platform creates a structured process for collaboration while helping organizations improve their digital presence and outreach.
The Problem
Many Purdue Organizations struggle to promote events and maintain a strong online presence despite being active and well-supported internally.

-
Limited access to developers or designers
-
Outdated or inaccessible websites
-
Difficulty promoting events and organizational identity
-
No centralized process for requesting technical support
-
Fragmented communication between organizations and students

Research & Insights
My research identified several key themes that shaped the platform's design and workflow.
01
Credibility matters
Organizations are more likely to participate when the platform is university-led and aligned with Purdue.
02
Discovery is difficult
Many organizations lack visibility and have no centralized place to find student support.
03
Two distinct users
Organizations and students have different goals, needs, and workflows, requiring separate experiences.
Design Process
I followed a structured process from research to final design, iterating with user feedback along the way.
01
Explore
Competitive research to understand existing solutions and identify gaps.
02
Structure
Created separate user flows for students and organizations.
03
Refine
Designed wireframes, tested with users, and iterated before finalizing the design
